Burning Permit Application

A burning permit application and fee of $25, payable to Penn Township, must be submitted to Penn Township for open burning on lots more than one acre but less than two acres. Open burning is not permitted on lots less than one acre. Permit Applications

All permit applications must be submitted to Penn Township. Applications can be mailed or dropped off at the Township Municipal Building, the vestibule is always open. The Municipal Building is located at 840 North Garfield Road, Bernville, PA 19506. Payment is due at the time of the application and is payable to Penn Township. Please note that we require three (3) complete copies of the application and supporting documents with the appropriate application fee.

Existing Driveway Fee: $75.00

New Driveway Fee: $75.00 plus $500.00 refundable escrow per the permit application.
